The Northwest Village webStudio
"Not your typical webDesign Studio…"

The majority of work handled by the Studio is usually a matter of e-mail and an occasional visit (possibly to take some photographs or just to "think aloud" in person).

The studio is inexpensive… not cheap!

There are few deadlines. If you need an extensive webSite done overnight, I'll be more than pleased to direct you to someone that can do it (and they will most likely charge appropriately).

There are no stupid questions (but if I laugh, take it in stride - your turn will come).

Yes! I do like the convenience of PayPal and recommend it for many (especially smaller) ecommerce sites.

No! I no longer do extensive java-scripting, flash or cgi work. If you have something in mind - it's easier and quicker to buy (borrow or steal) the code from a good source.

Will barter for firewood.

Yes. I've been known to work on THOSE kinds of webSites.

If you get one of the kids on the phone, make sure they write down your name and phone number, plus the best time to call back. Repeat it back to them, just to make sure!

Anything! We'll try it. If it works - great! If it doesn't - we'll try something different.

All things are difficult before they are easy.

As business-like, or as crazy as you want.

No. We usually don't add our endorsement, logo or any other reference to Northwest Village (or the webStudio) to webSites we design or host - unless you ask that we do. [A passing note for those with fear of GBA - Guilt By Assocation.]

Yes. Dry and/or sarcastic humor is appreciated.

The webStudio has been hosting most of it's webSites in Colorado. We've been with these guys since they started with a single server in a (relatively vacant) bathroom. At the time they were just starting out - everyone has to start somewhere - and we were looking for a Macintosh-based hosting service. It was a match… and the rest is history. They are big business now. 99.9% Uptime and all that other "stuff," but dealing with practical people without the usual "you know what" is what keeps it good for us.

"Yes, we do host with other companies for those that require/desire it. Sigh!"
